​It's not known whether Pelosi and Joe Biden have spoken since July when Pelosi 'forced' him to step aside from the race though Pelosi officially maintained that she did not exert any pressure. After Trump’s victory in November, Pelosi placed the blame for the Democrats’ loss on Biden. “Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race,” the California Democrat said during an interview with a New York Times podcast.
