Luigi Mangione becomes eligible for death penalty as he's charged with federal murder

Luigi Mangione Thursday waived extradition in Pennsylvania and came to New York where he was charged with murder. But to the surprise of Mangione's lawyers, the federal authorities unsealed new charges against him which now make him eligible for the death penalty. There's no death penalty in New York law but Luigi Mangione become the rare case as he has been charged with federal murder.
