Hurricane Norma, now Category 2, nears west Mexico coast

Hurricane Norma is set to hit Mexico's northwestern coast with strong winds, flooding, and dangerous sea surges. The storm, downgraded to a Category 2, is heading towards the popular tourist destination of Cabo San Lucas. As of now, it is 65 kilometers away from the town and moving at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour. Authorities have warned of the potential for flash flooding and mudslides in higher terrain. Hotel employees have advised guests to stay indoors until the storm passes.
